Oh yay my exams are over.
jeepers. I've been through hell and back, as do everyone who has to study lawl xD

rewarded myself by catching the DeathNote spinoff-
L Change the World. It's entertaining and insightful.
I'm not exaggerating I tell you, certainly one of the better films for a while.

I actually love the bloodshot eyes and bloody tears lol
The more gruesome it is, the more excited I feel.
It's like I'm feeding off the disturbing images..
But honestly if someone was to collapse in front of me liddat in reality..I think I'll probably freak out and faint bigtime.

Well ever since yuewen shared the morals that she got off from watching movies,
I started really looking out for them too.

the essence of the movie revolved around environmental conservation etc.
why not stem the root of the problem, us humans since we're the ones who are the ultimate cause of it all?
evils of wars, extinction of animals, global warming...
Even though the female professor had really lofty(& scary) ideals,I think I can still understand where she's coming from.
And the last few scenes where L was trying to reason that no one has the right to play God- not him nor her...
I thought that comeback was kind of weak.
probably not as strong as the impact of the professor's ideals had on me.
But I guess good guys always win, no matter what huh?
Not that I don't want L to anyway. ^^

while ppl gushed about how cute L is(I did that too!)..
that's the moral I'd picked up upon further reflection.
I'm not trying to sound intelligent or whatever shit,
but just what I truthfully gathered from the show.
And I feel a bit worried too.
since I admire the professor's ideals of creating a new world.
which makes me some sort of an extremist in that sense.

One bad thing about the show: There's a math problem.
Is it calculus? It makes me feel stupid since I sux at maths.
AHHHHHHHHHHH! That kid pwned me!

Also I don't like the fact that the crew chose Thailand as the spot for the infection..I mean why don't they choose the other way more developed countries?
That would have had greater impact when it's blown up to bits in the movie.
Or did I secretly detect a hint of subconscious belief that it's easier to target a lesser country just so it can prove the lethality of the virus?
Then I feel grieved; the country as an innocent victim.
(after re-reading the above para, I realized I'm not making much sense since I don't know how to put it accurately into words) :P I hope I'm not making it sound discriminating..

Now I'm currently making a to-do list for the long long holidays ahead.
Yups you guessed it, it's all anime. ^^

Life is Anime, Anime is Life.
