So I just went to complete the procedures for my ATM card, bank signature, new contact lenses and spectacles. All in a day's work. And it was totally random too.
I was complaining about my vision to my mum and she suggested that we visit the optician and the bank today. Usually I'll have to wait for weeks before my parents get their butt moving. :P

Did I mention the service of the optician and the bank tellers are really good? Which was surprising considering how long I've waited on previous occasions. I'm impressed but then again, it's probably my lucky day or something. :)
