lol just came back from withdrawing cash from the ATM. Had to walk all the way to EastPoint since the one closest to my house ran out of $50 notes. Imagine the horror if I turn up at the NATAS fair carrying a stack of $10 notes amounting to $1000. -_-
Went back to school on friday for Celebration of Learning 2010.
Actually my only motive was to collect my SIP certificate. I didn't even take the dress code seriously hahaha. so it was lucky I was going out later on right? or else I would have stick out like a sore thumb.
awww they gave us roses and the lecturers gave a performance. Wasn't expecting that.
but seriously I rather they don't give me any flowers when it's gonna wilt so quickly. It didn't even last for a day. -.-
took lots of pictures with everyone. year 1 friends, year 2 friends, year 3 friends and friends from my china trip. I was exceptionally glad that I was able to take a picture with my year 1 friends. That's a picture hard to come by these days. and with my class, in particular with Roy and Anton since our final-year class wasn't very united.
Managed to secure a car ride from Jasper. I was half-joking lol but he agreed graciously.
Pauline, Michelle and I's jaws were literally on the floor when we saw his beautiful BMW Series 1. I lost control of myself and demanded to take a picture with his car hahaha. Then I thought to myself. It's actually kind of disappointing that the best rides so far from equals are from my polytechnic friends, Mercedes, BMW you name it. They have given me more rides than any of my clique combined.
So while waiting for nightfall, I went to Pauline's house to play with her dog.
awww she's selling it away soon so this might be the last time I'm seeing her dog?
haha and we experimented with make-up haha. and had a girls' talk session.
It was quite meaningful. :)
then we met up with Michelle to go clubbing woot!
I seriously want to die while queuing outside Butter Factory. SO LONG!
Was super psyched since we had to take a lift up there and there's like a number of rooms and all. I think we went to the BUMP Room which has hiphop music. The crowd was so much bigger and noiser than Powerhouse's.
I am impressed with Butter Factory's interior design. More spacy and chic than St James. but god the music sucks. was sian half-way through the night since I lost track of how many nameless remixes they played. not to mention there's indian-oriented tracks??
I really appreciate Powerhouse's music, especially DJ Kzee. He knows what the crowd wants and rocks the house. Still willing to give it another chance though but I'm so not going back on
Friday nights.
As Pauline put it, seeya girls on the next dance floor! :P
