After waiting for so long, finally, the big day.
It's almost like a distant memory,
when I first found out Fly Entertainment was bringing
SHINee World Concert to Singapore.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have guessed
SHINee would be performing here.
Thinking about it now, it makes sense.
Though we lack the space, Singapore has the money.
Do you know it takes a 6 digit figure to invite SHINee to perform overseas?

Proceed with caution.
I was early. Because I wanted to buy their merchandise.
Only to find out there's really no need for me to be.
Because they were ONLY selling light sticks by the time I got there.
I wasn't pleased.
The concert started at 6, the booth opened at 1,
I was there at 3 and they ran out of everything.
Who the hell will pre-order 200 t-shirts for a 6000-strong audience?
It doesn't make sense.
500-800 would be a more sensible number don't you think.
So I had nothing to do while I waited for the concert.
Did a little exploring of my own before planting myself permanently at the North Entrance.
The view of Kallang River was pretty and there's a constant breeze blowing.
Talked to some people but I was mostly on my own.
If I don't look at others, it wasn't so bad.
If you ask me, would I still attend the concert, alone again?
I'll say yes a hundred fucking times.
The lack of company wasn't going to deter me.

My heart started pounding when they turned off the lights and my eyes took in the beautiful sight before me - a sea of pearl aqua.
Got goosebumps when "The Shinee World (Doo-Bop)" started playing,
the screams got louder and BOOM! in a shower of sparks,
Taemin leapt onto the stage.
Hey yo Taemin in the house!You can imagine how excited I was! It's really him!
I kept my attention on him throughout the first few songs.
After that it was completely taken away by Minho.
Errrr I couldn't help it.
Blame his translucent top and those long legs of his.
The way he walks, in no hurry to go anywhere, just oozes sexiness.

Completely mindblown by his rich vocals.

Minho came very close to our side and asked us to stand up.

That's some hilarious shit.
Onew condition kicked in and he wobbled around like jelly.
And Minho should just take off that cardigan seriously. LOL.
By now the atmosphere was very high.

Lucky fans who caught the balls, sweat-drenched towels etc.
Key made an effort to kiss every ball he threw out into the audience.

My favorite moment was when Jonghyun sprayed Taemin with water
and Minho took revenge for him by spraying Jonghyun back.

After concert thoughts:
I've come to the conclusion that
50% of the time I was staring at Minho,
30% at Jonghyun, 10% at Taemin,
5% at Key and Onew respectively.
Key was the sweetest,
he interacted with the fans the most
and tried speaking in English whenever he could.
I felt his sincerity.
Onew was sick so he wasn't in tip-top shape.
I know he tried his best to be energetic.
Jonghyun was a lot more cheerful this time round.
Minho was trying really hard to be sexy. And he aced it.
Taemin packed a lot of power and punch in his dance moves.
I'm especially proud of his vocals.
It's been a week since the concert ended.
and I'm still suffering from withdrawal symptoms.
It was definitely a night to remember
for the rest of my life. ♥
